Deskripsi
The Center for Connected Intelligence and Security (CCIS) emerged in response to
the explosive growth of the Internet of Things (IoT) and the increasing need to
secure these interconnected devices and the data they generate.
Key Drivers for CCIS's Formation:
• The rise of connected devices: Billions of devices are now connected to
the internet, generating vast amounts of data. This trend has created new
opportunities for intelligent applications but also introduced significant
security vulnerabilities.
• Evolving cyber threats: As the attack surface expands with more
connected devices, cybercriminals are developing increasingly
sophisticated techniques to exploit these vulnerabilities. Businesses and
governments face growing challenges in protecting their critical
infrastructure and data.
• The need for intelligent security solutions: Traditional security solutions
are often inadequate for the complex and dynamic nature of IoT threats.
AI-powered security solutions are needed to analyze data in real-time,
identify anomalies, and proactively prevent attacks.
• Demand for collaboration: Addressing the challenges of a connected
world requires a collaborative approach. CCIS aims to bring together
researchers, industry leaders, and policymakers to develop
comprehensive solutions.
