ICE is the the Institution of Civil Engineers who declared aim was to "foster and promote the art and science of civil engineering". 

ICE Technical Meeting in Indonesia has always been held in Eastern Promise British-Indian Restaurant, Kemang, South Jakarta, and participants are civil engineers from various companies and universitites in Indonesia, including civil engineering students from the Christian Krida Wacana University (Ukrida). The participation of Ukrida's Civil Engineering Students will get more lessons and experiences about the civil engineering projects. Presentations which always discussed is regarding to infrastructure project such as its planning, constructing and also maintaining and operational. Not just listening to the presentation, Ukrida's Civil Engineering Students also participated in ICE Annual Structural Challenge competition. This competition challenge is constructed bridge using ice cream sticks, straws, rubber band and it will be tested by ICE team. Loading test is used to ensure the strength of that bridge. The final result of this competition bring Civil Engineering Ukrida as the 3rd winner with score 50.37 under Mott Mac. Donald Company score 62.03 as the 1st winner. Congratulations! Next event with ICE, on Tuesday February 3rd 2015, Ukrida's Civil Engineering student joined a Technical Meeting of Institution of Civil Engineers. This event discussed about transportation with Mr. Juan Rafael Montano Michael, as a speaker. He has over 37 years of professional experience in civil engineering projects, and he was one of the key senior members of Nippon in countries in Asia, Africa, Central and South America. Recently he perform a project for a port's container terminal in Jakarta-Indonesia (JICT). Therefore, a traffic research was performed based on a Monte Carlo simulation and animations on traffic and queues were performed. He also explained his plans to change the route, move the gate, and add routes for container truck. Based on his research for over 1 year, he convinced that his plan is able to reduce the queuing times on the terminal. In his presentation, he provided a result summary and illustrates in a simple way, so it is easy to understand for students. The technical meeting was closed with dinner together with Indian menu.
